Yoga is a journey of the body and mind

that works toward uncovering the truth of who we really are. Along the way there are bumps in the road, but there are also paths of least resistance - all parts of the journey help us peel back the layers we've grown so used to. Our only job is to show up with a ready and humble spirit so the practice can transform and reconnect us to our true selves. And, practitioners have fun along the way.

Your commitment can be likened to a canvas just waiting for the brush strokes to create a work of art: each time you practice, it is equivalent to one brush stroke. Over time something amazing happens. It may not have an expected outcome but you can be sure a beautiful holistic transformation will take place.

About
Jenni Sol

Senior Yoga Instructor, lead trainer, E-RYT 500 and NASM CPT.

Founder and Owner of Jenni Sol Yoga and The Yoga Badass Academy

Embarking on her yoga journey over two decades ago, Jenni's exploration of Hatha and Iyengar yoga initially served as a complementary practice to her rigorous physical and endurance training. However, as the profound influence of yoga began to permeate every facet of her life, Jenni discovered that it transcended the mere pursuit of physical well-being; it became a transformative force that resonated deeply with her soul. It was with the discovery of Ashtanga that she sensed an undeniable feeling of coming home.

Jenni's academic pursuits, including a Bachelor's degree from Cornell University and a Master's in Education from Ithaca College, laid the foundation for a journey into yogic studies. Armed with dedication and a desire to share the invaluable gifts of yoga with others, she undertook advanced training in the Ashtanga tradition, earning her E-RYT-500 designation. Not stopping there, she also became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

The path of yoga unfolding in her life has proven to be a gift that Jenni passionately shares with her students. Having touched the lives of thousands of yogis worldwide, she imparts the benefits of yoga, breathwork, meditation, and yogic philosophy. Beyond her global impact, Jenni extends her expertise to the prestigious Cornell University, where she teaches courses in Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Intermediate Yoga, Meditation and Relaxation, and HIIT Yoga. She has also taught special yoga and movement sessions for the Cornell Hockey Team and the Cornell Lacrosse teams; Ashtanga and yoga philosophy with the Cornell Prison Education Program (2023), and is honored to be a part of the the 2024 summer session at the Cornell Adult University Program where she will be leading a yoga and wellness course in resetting the soul.

Jenni's commitment to fostering well-being extends to her boutique yoga studio, where she offers programs, classes, and 1:1 private yoga coaching intensives—both in-person and online. Her mission is to empower students, helping them cultivate confidence, strength, and peace in a hectic world.

In addition to her teaching role, Jenni serves as a senior mentor for emerging yoga teachers, guiding them on a transformative journey from completing their Yoga Teacher Training (YTT 200) to becoming deeply inspirational educators. As a small business coach, she aids fellow yoga teachers in developing sustainable ventures with a meaningful impact.

Beyond the yoga studio, Jenni's life is a rich tapestry woven with love and adventure. Whether spending quality time with her partner Eric, daughter Lily, and dog Lola in nature or relishing the vibrancy of Broadway shows, she embraces each moment with zest and gratitude. In every endeavor, Jenni's unwavering commitment to the transformative power of yoga shines through, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to cross her path.
